Raising the Voices of Women Entrepreneurs Event
On March 22nd 2023, 245 women attended our first Raising the Voices of Women Entrepreneurs virtual event. The purpose of the event was to inspire and connect women entrepreneurs to advocate for themselves and their sister women business owners.. Tara Lynn Gray, the California Small Business Advocate welcomed and encouraged all participating to stay involved in supporting the work of our Women’s Business Centers. This message was enlivened by our four amazing women speakers. The session ended with a raffle, the Grand Prize of $1,000 donated by Monica Ochoa, founder and President of OneDay Cleaners in Los Angeles. The prize was won by Yvette Avlia, owner of Blossom Day Care in Guadalupe.
